Teresina (Scenna) Magno, age 85, of Medford, died Monday May 28, 2007 in Boston at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Italy, Teresina was formerly of the North End of Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Filippo Magno and devoted daughter to the late Maria V. (Rizzacasa) & Emidio Scenna.
Teresina worked as a stitcher for many years. She was a Medford resident for the last 35 years and a member of the Orsogna Plaza Society of Everett. She most enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandson.
Teresina is survived by her devoted children Domenic Magno of Medford and Lucia Pezzano of Stoneham. Loving grandmother of Anthony, Lucia, and Lisa. Loving great grandmother of Mario. Sister of Alfredo Scenna of Canada. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Thursday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
