Obituary

William J. “Bill” Montague, 67 years, of East Falmouth, MA died Sunday May 27, 2007 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Linda M. (Piccione) Montague. For the past five years he had been a resident of East Falmouth and previously lived in Clinton, CT. from 1972-2002. He was born and raised in New Haven, CT, a son of the late John and Jessie (Armstrong) Montague. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in West Haven. He was an Army Veteran. For thirty seven years he was employed as a machine operator and foreman at Pratt and Whitney in Middletown, CT. He was involved with his children’s activities and had been an assistant little league coach. Mr. Montague enjoyed golf, fishing, woodworking and building things for others. He enjoyed antique and racing cars. Mr. Montague had been a member of the Knights of Columbus in Clinton Connecticut.


He is survived by his wife Linda (Piccione) Montague, a son and a daughter, William J. Montague of Haverhill, MA and Dawn Baker of Sharon, MA, four grandchildren, David and Ashley Baker and Caitlin and Celine Montague, a brother, Murdock Montague of New Hampshire and a sister, Maggie Trocchio of New York and a late brother, John Montague. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, North Easton Friday at 10am. Visiting hours are omitted.
