Bessie G. (Cooke) Goodwin age 94 of Salem, NH, died Monday at Salemhaven Nursing home, Salem, NH.
She was born in Calais, ME, where she grew up and attended schools. She was a resident of Salem, NH for over 50 years.
Mrs. Goodwin was retired from food service for Salem High School in Salem, NH. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church in Salem. She enjoyed collecting salt & pepper shakers, knitting, hand stitching tablecloths, cooking, bingo, and card games with family & friends.
She was predeceased by her parents James W. & Eva (McGregor) Cooke. She was also deceased by her husband Harold Goodwin, brothers, James Jr., Donald, & Phillip Cooke, sisters, Phyllis E. Herrick & Jesse Barry.
She is survived by her loving sister:

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 1 at 11 AM at the First Congregational Church, 15 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH. Inurnment will be at a later date in Robbinston, ME.
