PITTSFIELD — Helen Mary (Nassar) Beals, age 86 years, of New Bedford, died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She was the wife of the late Frederick Beals who died in 1989.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Joseph) Nassar and lived most of her life in New Bedford, and the last five years in Pittsfield at an Assisted Living Facility. In past years she had been employed in the shoe manufacturing business.
Formerly of Austin St., NB, she was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and was a devoted and loving mother.
She is survived by three sons, Douglas of New Bedford, Robert of Connecticut and Ronald of Pittsfield; four grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., NB on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, from 8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church at 10 A.M. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford, Ma.
