John P. Luti, Sr., 63

John P. Luti, Sr., 63, of Norton formerly of Holbrook died on Sunday May 27, 2007 at the Goddard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton, MA. He was the beloved husband of JoAnn (Allen) Luti to whom he was wed to on July 1, 1963.
Born in Brockton, MA on August 21, 1943 he was a loving son of the late Louis G. and Mary E. (Augenti) Luti.
He grew up in Holbrook and was educated in Holbrook schools. He was also a graduate of Stonehill College. Mr. Luti was employed as a Business Manager for the Holbrook Public School System for 10 years before retiring. He had formerly worked for the Digital Corporation.
While living in Holbrook John was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Cedar Hills Golf Course in Stoughton. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his loving family.
John had made his home in Norton for the past 6 years and was a former longtime resident of Holbrook.
Besides his beloved wife of over 43 years he is survived by his devoted children; David J. Luti of Covington, Georgia, Christina M. Colley of Norton, Teresa J. Springhetti of East Bridgewater, Daniel L. Luti of Seekonk and John P. “Jay” Luti, Jr. of Norton. Also surviving is his dear sister Natalie Moody of Florida, his 12 cherished grandchildren and 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday May 31st from 5-8 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the Norton Common Cemetery, Norton.
In lieu of flowers, John’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the American Diabetes Association Providence Office 222 Richmond St. Suite 204 Providence, R.I. 02903
