Frankie Paulk Cantrell, 87, of Tifton, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at the Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. W. Ches Smith, III will officiate with burial to follow at Union Primitive Baptist Church in Willacoochee. Pallbearers will be Phillip Paulk, Chad Cantrell, Joe Arnold, Bob Neeley, Rob Costin and Ward Fuller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 29, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Cantrell was born on December 14, 1919 in Coffee County and was the daughter of Oscar Paulk and Mary Paulk Paulk, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Cantrell, who died in 1994. She was a retired dental assistant and a member of Tifton's First Baptist Church.
Ms. Cantrell is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Kathy Cantrell of Marietta; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Ed Arnold of Warner Robins; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Loren and Mavis Cantrell of Sun City, Florida; and four grandchildren, Joe Cantrell Arnold, Kala Arnold Fuller, Chad Cantrell and Beth Cantrell.
