Nicole Anne Shoemaker, 22, of Marion, died May 26, 2007 unexpectedly.
Born in Blue Hill, Maine, she was the daughter of Harry and Anne (Croke) Shoemaker, the beloved sister of Brent Shoemaker and Michaela Shoemaker, all of Marion, and the girlfriend of Caleb Nietupski of Hartford, CT. She lived in Marion most of her life and recently was living in Worcester.
She was a communicant of St. Rita's Church in Marion.
Nicole was a 2002 graduate of Old Rochester Regional High School and Assumption College, class of 2006.
Her interest in fashion led to a career as an assistant manager at Hollister and more recently at Aeropostale.
Nicole's greatest joys were traveling with her family and spending time with her friends, especially with Caleb. She also loved celebrating the holidays with her large extended family. Her laughter and joy for life were the gifts she gave to her family and friends.
Nicole was the granddaughter of Edward and Mary (Weidmann) Croke of Lowell, MA, Dorothea (Windish) Shoemaker of Dartmouth and the late LeRoy Shoemaker. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett Friday, June 1st at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Old Landing Cemetery, Marion. Visiting hours Thursday, May 31st from 4-8 PM.
