Visitation in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 9 to 10:15am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater at 11am. Grace V. Murphy, 94 years died Thursday morning at home. She was born in Cambridge, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Elizabeth (Hawes) O’Neil. Mrs. Murphy has been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 10 years, previously living in Brockton for 58 years. She was homemaker. Mrs. Murphy had a passion for ballroom dancing with her late husband Frederick and enjoyed the sociability with many friends at several area ballrooms. Mrs. Murphy also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son and a daughter, Thomas F. Murphy of Pembroke and Eileen D. Doyle and her husband Francis of Bridgewater, her 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Patrick and Jennifer Doyle all of Bridgewater and Michael Poole and his wife Suprani and two great grandchildren, Naht and A’nn, her brother, Arthur O’Neil of Kentucky and a sister, Sr. Margaret Ann O’Neil, CSJ of Milton.
