WORCESTER-Stanley T. Walsh, 86, of Worcester died Wednesday, May 23rd in the Rose Monahan Hospice House. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn B. Walsh; a son, John B. Walsh of Brea, CA; a daughter, Janet M. O’Donnell of Eagle Lake, FL; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Walsh of Seattle, WA and Mark and Maureen Walsh of Brea, CA; and several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Webster, the son of Joseph and Appolina (Radischefski) Wasielewski. Mr. Walsh attended Bartlett High School. He was employed by G.F. Wright Steel and Wire Company as a trucker for many years until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Walsh was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, serving in the China Burma India Theater. He loved gardening, feeding the birds and making pickles for family and friends.
The funeral is Wednesday, May 30th with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no calling hours.
