Winifred (Williams) Sullivan Haun, 77, of New Bedford died Monday May 14, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eugene P. Haun and the late John E. Sullivan.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Helen (Maguire) Williams, she lived here for many years before moving to Lady Lake, Florida in 1989 and returning to live in New Bedford in 2003.
Mrs. Haun was formerly employed by the Commonwealth Gas Company until her retirement. Prior to that, she had been employed by the Pre-School Child Development Program of New Bedford and at the former Lakeville Hospital.
She was a past president of the Orange Blossom Gardens Lioness Club in Lady Lake, a past vice president of the League of Women Voters of Greater New Bedford, a member of the Volunteer Police Dept. of Lady Lake, a former secretary of the Lake County Drug-Free Program, and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include a son, Mark J. Sullivan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
