Florence J. Gaudreau 86 formerly of 939 Bernon St. died peacefully on Monday surrounded by her family at St Antoine Residence in N. Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Donat L. Gaudreau. Mrs Gaudreau was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Josephat and Alexandria (Rainville) Paulette. Mrs. Gaudreau worked as a dietary aide at the former Fogarty Hospital. She was a member of the St. Agatha’s Ladies Guild and the Forever Young Club. She loved playing bingo.
Mrs. Gaudreau is survived by a son Normand D. Gaudreau and his wife Kathy of Medway, MA and a daughter Gloria F. Place and her husband George of Woonsocket, a sister Lucille Cournoyer of Manville, four grandchildren, Charlene Mowry, Marc Brissette, Kristen E. Gaudreau and Matthew J. Gaudreau, and two great granddaughters, Makenzie, and Mia. She was also the sister of the late Armand Paulette.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in St. Antoine Residence’s Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield. Burial will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-8 pm.
