Obituary

Anna M. (Bruneau) Gagnon, age 97, died Thursday, May 17 at the HQM Nursing Car Center in Palm Bay, FL after an extended illness. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Gagnon.
She was born in Lowell on May 18, 1909, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Landry) Bruneau. Mrs. Gagnon resided in Palm Bay, FL for the past 3 years and was formerly of Lowell where she was a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a shoe repairer with Grace Shoe in Lowell for 20 years. Mrs. Gagnon was a member of Club Bon Vivant with Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish and the Red Hat Society with HQM of Palm Bay.
She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards and was very close to her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lorraine and Norman Isabelle of Palm Bay, FL and Janet Louise Poirier of Derry, NH; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Estelle Gagnon of Melbourne, FL and Roger and Mabel Gagnon of Palm Bay, FL; two sisters, Claire Sosnowy and Estelle Gucwa, both of Dracut; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eva Marcotte, Rose Caron and Paul Bruneau.
At the request of the family, funeral services and burial were held privately at St. Joseph's Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, May 22nd.
