LEICESTER-Jennie L. (Chaffee) Reynolds, 76, of 75 Charles Street, died Monday, May 21st in her home. Her husband, Francis H. Reynolds, died in 1969. She leaves 2 daughters, Elizabeth A. Corey of Leicester, with whom she lived and Mary A. Magnuson of Rochdale; her sons-in-law, Robert E. Forte of Leicester and Stephen P. Magnuson of Rochdale; a sister, Helen C. Malvey of Leicester; a close friend, Amos Gregory of Spencer; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was born in Leicester, the daughter of Elmer and Jennie (Neff) Chaffee and graduated from Leicester High School. Mrs. Reynolds worked at Worcester Knitting Company for 45 years, retiring as supervisor in 1995. She was a member of St. Pius X Church and loved dancing, gardening, Hampton Beach and especially her family. Mrs. Reynolds was an avid Red Sox fan.
The funeral is Wednesday, May 23rd, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Pius X Church, 1154 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 22nd from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
