Sandra Carol Portivent, 52, of Fitzgerald, died Monday morning, May 21, at the Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be private.
Ms. Portivent was born January 7, 1955 in Ben Hill County to Tilma Keeny Portivent and the late Raymond Lee Portivent. She lived in the community most of her life. Ms. Portivent was an R.N., having worked at the health departments in Cook County and Lanier County and for Care One Home Health Care. She was a former school bus driver for Ben Hill County and she was an Avon Representative. She was a member of the Church Of The Nazarene.
She is survived by a daughter: DeeDee Watson Baker of Jacksonville, FL; son, Curtis Lamar Watson, Jr., of Grand Bay, AL; 5 grandchildren; mother, Tilma K. Portivent of Fitzgerald; sister, Pam Giacopelli of Grayson; brothers, Marshall Portivent of Panama City, FL, Raymond F. “Butch” Portivent of Henderson, NV and David Portivent of Abbeville.
