SALEM, NH – Albert C. Fontaine age 92 beloved husband and loving father went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 19, 2007 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA surrounded by his family.
Born and educated in Lawrence, he was a graduated from Lawrence High School .During World War II he served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. For 30 years he was employed as a forklift operator with J. P. Stevens/Dun-Dee Warehouse in Andover, MA, and for 10 years he was employed in the maintence department with the Honeywell Company before his retirement. Along with his wife he was a longtime member of the Riverside Assembly of God Church in Methuen. He enjoyed animals and spending time with his family.
He leaves his wife of 63 years Ruth A. (Gilman) Fontaine of Salem, NH.
2 children Linda R. Driscoll and her husband Leo R., and David A. Fontaine all of Nashua, NH.
1 brother Kenneth Fontaine and his wife Janet of Lawrence, MA.
3 sisters Eva Custeau and Thelma Reynolds both of Andover, MA and Pauline Corneau of Lawrence, MA.
Many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made o he Alzheimers/Dementia Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00a.m. at the Riverside Assembly of God Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in the West Parish Garden Cemetery in Andover, MA.
