Sr. Adrienne Guilbert RJM, 100 died Saturday in St. Antoine Residence. She was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Edmond and Marie Louise (Jodoin) Guilbert. Sr. Adrienne was a Sister of the Religious of Jesus and Mary, and had taken the name of Sr. Alexina. She had many assignments during her vocation, including elementary school teacher, Sacristan, and school nurse though out Rhode Island and New Hampshire until her retirement in 1997.
Sr. Adrienne is predeceased by four brothers Albert, Edmond, Pierre and Edgar Guilbert and a sister Germaine Guay. She is survived by her fellow Sisters of the Religious of Jesus and Mary and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday 5-8 pm.
