SHREWSBURY- Aime R. Ledoux, 87 a retired machinist, died Monday, November 18, 2002 in UMASS-Memorial Hospital 55 Lake Ave, Worcester, after being stricken.
He leaves his wife of over 60 years, Georgette (Leroux) Ledoux, three sons; Ronald M. Ledoux, of Northborough, Richard R. Ledoux, of Milltown N.J., Philip J. Ledoux, of Stillwater MN, and Robert J. Ledoux, of Harvard a daughter, Denise M. Shailer, of Shrewsbury, Fifteen grandchildren, two sisters; Annette Chaput of Shrewsbury, Lucille Donovan, of CA.
Two brothers; Omer and Paul Ledoux both predecease him.
Born in Worcester son of the late Adelard and Melody (Blanchard) Ledoux, he was educated in St. Joseph School.
Mr. Ledoux was a machinist and inspector at the Norton Co. for more than 25 years retiring in 1977.
He was a U.S. Army Reservist.
He was an avid gardener, and bowler, having belonged to many area leagues.
His funeral will be held Friday with a mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Anne’s Church 130 Boston Turnpike, burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Calling Hours at the funeral home will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (brittonfuneralhomes.com) is directing arrangements.
