Mrs. Norma A. (Armitage) Perry of Andover, formerly of Centerville, Cape Cod and Osprey, Florida, died at Wingate at Andover, on Wednesday, May 9, 2007. She was 86 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on December 30, 1920, she was a beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Christine (Chuickshank) Armitage. Mrs. Perry was a long time employee at the IRS in Andover, prior to retiring in 1980.
She was the beloved mother of Carol Stanwood of Methuen, Allen T. Perry of Los Angeles, California and the late Jill Perry. She was the loving grandmother of Christine and her husband Andy Ralmondi of Sandown, New Hampshire, Tammi and her husband Steve Rutherford of Derry, New Hampshire, Tyler Perry of Flagstaff, Arizona and Annie Perry of Los Angeles, California and great-grandmother of Cayla, Chelsie and Drew Ralmondi and Brittani and Cody Rutherford. She was also the sister of Arthur “Scottie” Armitage of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, sister-in-law of Carrolle Poole of Florida and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bette Poole. A graveside service was held in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen on Thursday, May 18, 2007, at 1 PM. Many relatives and friends attended.
