Kathleen A. Sullivan, 65

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Kathleen A.(MacNeil) Sullivan, 65, of Mansfield died on Thursday May 17, 2007 at home surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the beloved wife of Charles F. Duncan and the late Richard J. Sullivan, Jr.
Born in Nova Scotia, Canada on July 12, 1941 she was a loving daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (McMurray) MacNeil.
She spent her childhood in Canada before her family moved to this country when she was 16 years old, first settling in the Mission Hill section of Boston. She was educated in both Canada and Boston. She later moved to Jamaica Plain.
Mrs. Sullivan was a retired Data Processor having worked for One Beacon Insurance in Foxboro for 10 years before retiring in 2002.
A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Kathleen enjoyed decorating, crafts and sewing. She was an avid knitter who also enjoyed traveling, spending time with her adoring family and especially making clothes for her cherished grandchildren.
Mrs. Sullivan had made her home in Mansfield for the past 39 years and was formerly of Jamaica Plain.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving and devoted children; Donna M. Glassman and her husband Darren of Plainville, Lorraine A. Galanti and her husband Michael of Mansfield, Tracey A. Tavares and her husband John of Mansfield, Laura A. Flanagan and her husband Michael of Medway, Sharon Tight and her husband Garrett of Medway and Steven Duncan and his wife Moira of Franklin. Her dear brothers and sisters; Daniel MacNeil of Canada, Delores Sheppard of Plainville, John MacNeil of Jamaica Plain, Jean Flood of Chelmsford, Rita O’Brien of Franklin, Annemarie Donahue of Naples, Florida and the late Arthur MacNeil and Mary Duncan. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren; Scott, Richard, Kevin, Joseph, Alex, Connor, Ryan, Karley, Hannah, Molly, Callie and Liam. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday May 21st at 8:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday May 20th from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
