TEWKSBURY - Mildred D. (West) Watson, 82, a Tewksbury resident for over 50 years, diedMonday evening, Nov. 18, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife ofthe late George H. Watson, who died in 1985.
She was born in Stoneham, Aug. 7, 1920, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Lorrey)West, and was raised in Stoneham. She graduated Stoneham High School in 1938, and was aformer member of St. James Methodist Church in Stoneham. She had lived in Tewksbury since1951, where she had been a member of the Tewksbury United Methodist Church.
She was retired from the sales department of F. I. Carter and Sons, well known carnation andplant producers in Tewksbury.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jean E. Watson of Tewksbury, and Susan andher husband Roy Patterson of Tewksbury, one grandson, Stephen Patterson of Tewksbury andone great grandson, Timothy Patterson of Tewksbury.
Her funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 26, in the funeral home. Interment was in Lindenwood Cemetery,Stoneham.
