Jane C. (Coleman) Rogers,77, of 2 Tanglewood Rd., died Tuesday,
May 15 at her home.
Her husband of 54 years, Randall L. Rogers, died Dec. 15, 2006. She leaves a
son Gerrit L. Rogers and his wife Medora of Easthampton, four daughters
Susan Rogers of Leicester, Betsy-Lynn Benoit and her husband Daniel of
Cherry Valley, Carol-Ann Tripp and her husband Paul of Watertown, Tenn. and
Mary-Jane Huelsman and her husband Randolph of Leicester, seven grand
children Erica and Molly Paquette, Nathan Gilman, Francis Benoit,
Mary-Margaret Tripp, Daniel and Joseph Huelsman, many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a brother Perry L. Coleman in 2005.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Ahlem Chapter in
Springfield. She graduated from Hanover College in Hanover, Ind., with a
Bachelors Degree in Science. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Dr.
Joseph E. and Dorothy (Leaflang) Coleman.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 21 at 10 a.m. in the
MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in
Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2
to 4p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Second Chance
Animal Shelter, Young Rd., E.Brookfield, Ma. 01515.
