Worcester—Jose A. Ruiz, 65, of 132 Country Club Blvd., passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007, at UMass Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife, Linda L. (MacArthur) Ruiz; 3 sons, Joseph Ruiz and his wife Madelyn, Juan Ruiz, and Louis Ruiz and his wife Alexandria. A son, Edward James “Jimmy” Ruiz died in 2000. He also leaves 4 sisters, Gladys, Luisa, Leyda, and Margarita; 2 brothers, Luis and Miguel; and 3 grandchildren, Shannon Marie Poulin-Ruiz, and Adrieanna and Britteny Coonan and their mother, Christine Coonan. Jose was born in Puerto Rico, son of Jose and Dolores (Vazquez) Ruiz. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. Jose was a machinist at Mercury Wire until his retirement.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, from NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street with an 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Joan of Arc, 570 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
