Mr. Donald Guy Parent, beloved husband of Gail W. (Nealley) Parent, of Andover, died at the Merrimack Valley Medical Center in Haverhill on May 13, 2007. He was 69 years old.
Mr. Parent was born on February 8, 1938, the son of Fleet and Cora (Wilson) Habbelson. He was the proprietor of Boston Electric in Revere for many years.
Mr. Parent will be sorely missed by his beloved wife, Gail and their children; Gayle Y. and her husband Douglas B. Burke of Methuen, Donald J. and his wife Cheryl A. Parent of Danville, N.H., Robin E. Parent and her partner, Patrick F. O’Hagan of Andover and Nancy A. and David F. Parent, both of Andover. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Thomas, Caitlin, Jarrod, Ryan, Lauren, Justin, Randi and Jamie and 2 great-grandchildren; Thomas Jr. and Sophia and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends were most welcome to attend.
