Doris Paquette Maurice 80, of Edgewater Dr. died Saturday in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Northbridge, MA. She was the wife of Arthur E. Maurice and the late Roland Paquette. Mrs. Maurice was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Joseph and Aldea (Hamel) Roberge. Mrs. Maurice was an assembler for AT Cross in Lincoln for eight years before retiring in 1974.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son Roger A. Paquette of Blackstone, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and a sister Marie Rose Larochelle of Pascoag. She was also the mother of the late Robert Paquette and sister of the late Maurice, Albert, Joseph, Adolphe and Wilfred Roberge.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Theresa’s Church, Rathbun St. in Blackstone. Burial will be held in St. James Cemetery in Manville. Visiting hours are Monday 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
