Beatrice Maggiore, age 98, of Woburn formerly of Medford and Ft. Lauderdale, FL died may 12th following a short illness at the Winchester Nursing Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Maggiore. Born in Boston she was the the daughter of the late John and Grace (Cuilli) Mucci.
Beatrice was a vibrant woman with an elegant style all her own. Extremely devoted to her loving family, she was a wonderful homemaker and a great cook. Throughout the years she enjoyed dancing and taking cruises with her late husband prior to his death. She also enjoyed time spent with her family and friends wether playing cards or gathering for family functions.
In addition to her late husband, Beatrice is predeceased by her sisters and brothers,, Rose Gentile, Genevieve , Alfonse and Joseph Mucci. She is survived by her children, Joseph Maggiore and his wife Phyllis of Woburn, Annette Michienzi and her husband Frank of Winchester, Genevieve “Jean” Salemi of Winchester and her late husband Anthony, Anthony Maggiore and his wife Judith of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by twelve loving grandchildren and twenty-eight loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Wednesday, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 3 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be made in Beatrice’s memory to St. Barbara Church at the above address.
