Obituary

Claudette Marie Morneau, age 63, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 9th a Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Dracut on Oct. 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Lucien and Gertrude (Robitaille) Morneau. Miss Morneau was a lifelong resident of Lowell and was a member of the MHA of Greater Lowell.
She enjoyed singing and dancing, playing cards and dominos, collecting watches and making jewelry. She was very loving, kind and sweet person, who will be missed by all who knew her, according to family members.
She is survived by four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Irene Morneau, Jeannette and John Coalter, Theresa Morneau and Patricia and David Leonard, all of Dracut; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Donald and Dolores Morneau of Lowell, Paul and Norene Morneau of Poland Springs, ME, and Roger Morneau and his longtime companion, Maureen Riss, of Lowell; also many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was also the sister of the late Anita Rondeau and Helen Desrosiers.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Monday, May 14th, from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Tuesday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Michael's Church. Interment in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell Community Residence, 62 Colonial Ave., Lowell, MA 01854.
