Yolanda T. (Gargano) Ricciardone passed away on May 9, 2007. She was 89 years old.
The daughter of Italian immigrants, Yolanda was born in Wakefield and was a longtime resident of Malden. She was married to the late Louis F. Ricciardone Sr. for 58 years.
Yolanda was the loving mother of Louis F. Ricciardone Jr. and his wife Ellen of Maine, Patricia DeVito and her husband Nick of Melrose and Yolanda Zampitella and her husband Gene of Malden. She was the dear sister of Caesar “Gary” Gargano, Esther Belliveau and her husband Abe and the late Guy Gargano, Carmella Mattogno, Florence Biancini and Delia Albanese. Yolanda was the cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and her extended family and friends at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center.
The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, May 12th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Incarnation Church, 425 Upham Street, Melrose at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Friday, May 11th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
