WORCESTER-Nancy A. (O’Connell) Hines, 66, of 6 Wentworth Street, died Saturday, November 15th in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after being stricken ill. She leaves her husband of 43 years, James T. Hines, Sr.; a son, James T. Hines, Jr. of Auburn; her mother, Mary J. (O’Rourke) O’Connell of Worcester; a brother, John F. O’Connell of Holden; a sister, Margaret M. Moynihan of Northboro; a granddaughter, Meghan T. Hines of Auburn; several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of John F. O’Connell, graduated from Commerce High School and lived here all of her life. Mrs. Hines worked as a clerk at Melville Shoe Company for 18 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral will be Tuesday, November 19th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, November 18th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Our Lady of the Angels Church Restoration Fund, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 0l603.
