Adgenetta R. (Stickney) Huff, a Needham resident for over 50 years died on Monday, May 7th at Briarwood Healthcare in Needham. She was 88 years old. Born and raised in Newton, Mrs. Huff moved to Needham in 1955. She worked at the former F.W. Woolworth store in Needham center from 1957 until the store closed in 1982. In 1983 Mrs. Huff went to work at Harvey’s Hardware in Needham until she retired in 1999. The beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Huff, she leaves her children, Norman H. Huff of Tierra Verde, FL, Roger W. Huff of Needham and Jane E. Patterson of Sammamish, WA. Sister of Norman Stickney of Ashland and Floristan Leavitt of Duluth MN. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Congregational Church of Needham, Great Plain Ave Needham on Saturday May 26 at 2:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations in Adgenetta’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., Mass Chapter, 311 Arsenal St Watertown Ma 02472.
