SUTTON__ Edward A. Dusak, 86, of Sutton, died Wednesday May 9, in Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center, Westborough. His wife, Viola C. (Galli) Dusak died in 2006.
He leaves his caretakers, a niece, Donna Holland Dunn and a nephew, Gerald Holland, Jr., both of Grafton; as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Harold, Chester, William, Henry and Phillip Duszak and a sister, Jenny J. Duszak. Edward was born in Worcester, a son of Franciszek and Maryanna (Badeja) Duszak and lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Sutton.
Mr. Dusak was a foundry molder at the former Crompton & Knowles Corporation 40 years prior to retiring in 1980. He was a U.S Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a water tender 2nd Class. Edward was a member of the VFW, South Work Post 3656 and the local Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral service will be held on Friday May 11, at 10:30 am in HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester. Entombment will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday, May 11, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
