MARSTONS MILLS-Paul J. Liangos, 93, of Marstons Mills, formerly of Worcester, died Monday, May 7th, in Cape Cod Hospital. He leaves his wife of 66 years, Ethel (Pespeni) Liangos; nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
He was born in Volos, Greece, the son of John V. and Kalliope (Stavros-Kollios) Liangos and moved to the United States in 1914. He lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Marstons Mills 26 years ago. Mr. Liangos worked at Paul Revere Insurance Company before retiring. He was a member of St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church and a former member and chanter at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Worcester.
The funeral is Friday, May 11th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a service at 10:00 A.M. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, May 10th, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
