Mrs. Barbara (Butler) Blair, beloved wife of the late Earl H. Blair and 79 year resident of Medford, died at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 25, 2007, following a lengthy illness. She was 94 years old.
Mrs. Blair was born in Canada on August 19, 1912. She moved to Medford in 1928 and always enjoyed caring for her family as a stay at home mom. She often attended the Community Baptist Church on Fulton Street in Medford.
She was the loving mother of Earl M. Blair of Brookline, Barbara A. and her husband Robert Harpell of Tempe, AZ and Ronald D. and his wife Kathleen Blair of Medford. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service was celebrated in the Community Baptist Church 470 Fulton Street, Medford, Friday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited attend. Visiting hours were in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Thursday from 5 to 8 PM.
