Anthony G. “Tony” Des Rochers, 40, died May 4, 2007 in his home after a brave struggle with cancer.
He was born July 13, 1966, raised and resided in Manchester.
Tony attended Mt. St. Mary’s Elementary School, St. Joseph’s Junior High School, Central High School, and Franklin Pierce College in Rindge.
Tony was an inspiration to many. He started and built Des Rochers Real Estate, a very successful real estate business in southern New Hampshire. Over and above his hard work and perseverance was his high level of integrity.
Tony had a deep love for life, family and people. He always gave from his heart expecting nothing in return. He gave to many charities and always wanted to remain anonymous. He had a special place in his heart for children, especially those less fortunate.
Tony enjoyed his second home in Florida, the ocean, boating, and collecting cars.
He leaves his wife, Laurie (Muzeroll) Des Rochers; his daughter, Laura Des Rochers; his mother, Ellen Des Rochers, his brothers, Gerard Des Rochers, Emery Des Rochers, and Lewis Des Rochers; his mother in-law, Paula Muzeroll-Smith; his brother in-law, Dustin Muzeroll; and a nephew, Jordan Muzeroll.
He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Gerard Des Rochers, and by his father in-law, Martin Muzeroll.
Tony will be missed by many. His strength, generosity and sense of humor are gifts he will leave behind.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday May 12, 2007 at St. Catherine Church. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
