Dorothy (Van Delden) Darling, 83, died at the BayPointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton on Monday, May 7 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Darling. Born in Midland Park, NJ, she was educated in New Jersey schools. She was a resident of Brockton since November, 2005 after living in Florida for 16 years and Seekonk for 20 years. Mrs. Darling was an Administrative Assistant at Brown University in Providence, RI for 15 years before retiring in 1980.
Mrs. Darling is survived by her sons, Donald L. Darling of Weymouth and Scott W. Darling of Providence, RI. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen A. Darling. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
