TEWKSBURY - Mary M. Hamilton, L.P.N., age 47, a former nurse at Tewksbury Hospital, died
Sunday, May 6, at her Tewksbury home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Boston, June 13, 1959, one of seven children of the late Walter M. and Margaret
M. (Conroy) Hamilton. She had lived in Tewksbury all her life, and was a member of Tewksbury
Memorial High School’s Class of 1977. She later graduated from Tewksbury Hospital’s School
of Nursing.
She worked as a Nurse at Tewksbury Hospital, and most recently worked as a home health care
nurse.
She is survived by her brothers, W. Michael Hamilton and his partner Rev. Daniel Collier of
Billerica, John J. Hamilton of West Palm Beach, FL, James P. Hamilton of Jacksonville,FL; her
sisters, Ann M. Hamilton and her husband Philip of Springfield, MO, Barbara J. Rocha and her
husband John of Lowell; six nieces and nephews, Daniel, Christine, Joseph, and Amanda Rocha
all of Lowell, Toby and Laura Elizabeth Bonnell both of Lexington; and several aunts and uncles.
She was also sister of the late Jean A. Hamilton.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, May 10, at 11:00 in the Immaculate Conception Church,
Lowell. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, No. Tewksbury.
