OBITUARY
E. Louise Gagnon of Norwood, a retired Dedham High School Teacher, died on Thurs May 3, 2007 at the Tippet Hospice House in Needham. She was 94.
Miss Gagnon graduated from Salem Normal School (now Salem State College) and received her Masters in Education from Boston Univ. She taught for 38 years beginning in Westport then Rockland and from 1957 until her retirement in 1972 she taught Business Practices and Business Machines at Dedham High School. She was a founding member of the Dedham Womens Club and had recently attended her 70th year class reunion from Salem State College. A longtime resident of Norwood she also was a summer and fall resident of North Wolfeboro NH.
Miss Gagnon is survived by her nephew Edward W. Gagnon and his wife Susan L. Gagnon of Needham and her sister in law Beatrice Gagnon of Wolfeboro NH formerly of Needham. She was pre deceased by her brother William A. Gagnon formerly of Wolfeboro NH and Needham.
A Mass of Christian Burial in her honor will be held on Mon May 14 at 9 AM in St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 549 Washington St. Norwood. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beverly.
