New Bedford – Kenneth W. Lebeau, 43, of Acushnet died May 4, 2007 at St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Therrien) Lebeau.
Mr. Lebeau was born in New Bedford, the son of Edward and Jeannette (Pellitier) Lebeau of Acushnet. He resided in Acushnet most of his life. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. He was employed by Universal Roofing and Sheet Metal, working on many slate roofs and churches in the area. He was a member of the Local 33 Roofers and Waterproofers Union and the Sippican Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, scuba diving, riding his quad, flea marketing and the Indy 500.
In addition to his widow and parents, he is survived by 3 sons: Reis, Nicholas and Luke Lebeau all of Acushnet; a brother: Bruce Lebeau and his wife Nancy of Orlando, FL; 2 sisters-in-law: Elvia Acosta-Lebeau of New Bedford and Amy Deneault of New Bedford; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Alan and Nancy (Moniz) Deneault of New Bedford; his father-in-law: Robert Therrien and his wife Eileen (Roberts) Therrien of Florida; his nieces: Jennette Lebeau of Florida and Kassondra Lebeau of New Bedford; his niece & Godchild: Kendra Lebeau of New Bedford; and his nephews: Joshua Lebeau of Florida and Wesley Lebeau of New Bedford. He was brother of the late David Lebeau.

Funeral from the Kirby Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet at 9 A.M.
Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
