Mollie (Ginensky) Gerson, 91, entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2007 at the Salem Hospital.
Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Frank & Minnie (Rubin) Ginensky, Mollie was raised & educated in Revere, graduating from Revere High School. She was married to the late Irving Gerson, who entered into eternal rest in 2002. Mollie was employed for many years by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, from which she retired. Her true love & devotion was to raising her children, & enjoying her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Mollie was a member of B'Nai Brith & Cong. Tifereth Israel of Revere. Mollie's dedication in coordinating the bus to Stop & Shop from the Jack Satter House in Revere will be greatly missed!
Mollie is survived by her children, Phyllis Hoffman of Atlanta, GA, Gerald Gerson & his wife Gail of Marblehead, & Bruce Gerson & his wife Paula of Tamarac, FL; her grandchildren, Joseph Hoffman, Sharon Gregory, Alane Levy, Ilana Mogolesko, Jeffrey, Michael, Steven, & Brandon Gerson; & her great-grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Jessica, Melanie, Noa, Maxwell, Sadie, Bailey, Arielle, & Samantha. She was the sister of the late Albert Gayle & Irene Griffin.
Funeral services will be held in the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave. (Cary Sq) CHELSEA on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Rabbi Baruch Ha Levy of Cong. Shirat Hayim will be the officiant. Burial will follow in the family lot at Cong. Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett. Memorial observance will be held at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Gerson, Marblehead immediately following the burial on Monday & on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Those wishing to remember Mollie may do so through memorial donations to the Jack Satter House, 420 Revere Beach Blvd. Revere, MA 02151 or to a charity of one's own choosing.
