Obituary

AUBURN-Shirley Y. (Larson) Wojciak, 74, of 13 Stoneville Heights, died Thursday, November 14 in the St. Vincent hospital at Worcester Medical Center, Worcester after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 47 years, Harry L. Wojciak; her grandchildren, Lynn Conway of Auburn, Robert Kovacs and Lauren Lizotte of Millbury; two brothers, Alfred Larson of Worcester and John Larson of Spencer; a sister, Jean Lareau of Worcester and her great grandson, Steven Conway. Her daughter Deborah J. Wojciak died in 2000 and a brother, Arthur Larson predeceased her.

She was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alfred and Yvonne M. (Brown) Larson and there for many years before moving to Auburn three years ago.

Mrs. Wojciak worked for more than 25 years at the former Quality Seafoods in Worcester.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church and was a member and past president of the Chester P. Tuttle Post, American Legion Ladies Auxillary, both in Auburn. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 18 at 10 AM in the First Congregational Church, 128 Central St., Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Calling hours at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St.(www.brittonfuneralhomes.com) Auburn are Sunday, from 5-7 PM.
