Paula S. (DeWolfe) Bucklin, 57 of Norfolk died May 3 in her home following a long illness. She was the wife of Fred W. Bucklin.
Born in Boston on October 2, 1949, the daughter of Richard DeWolfe of Walpole and Anne (Soule) McLaughry of Hanover NH, Mrs. Bucklin was raised in Milton and had lived in Norfolk for the past 31 years.
She was a graduate of Jeanne D’Arc Academy in Milton and Boston University.
Mrs. Bucklin along with her husband were the owners of Bucklin Appraisal Company of Walpole since 1975. Mrs. Bucklin, prior to becoming an appraiser taught in the Quincy School system.
Mrs. Bucklin loved gardening, horses and above all spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her sons Matthew Bucklin of Boston and Adam Bucklin and his wife Dr. Cloe Shelton of Tijeras, NM.
She is also survived by her brother Richard DeWolfe of Westwood, sister Patricia Griffin of Milton, brother Howard DeWolfe of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and 17 nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday May 5 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. Franklin at 12:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Jude’s Church in Norfolk at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Norfolk Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
