WORCESTER-Efthimios Gogos, 92, of Worcester, died Thursday, May 3rd in UMass-Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife Anastasia (Tsiros) Gogos; his son Stavros and his wife Anne Marie Gogos of Holden; his daughter Andrea, wife of Christos Kakouros of Worcester; 4 grandchildren Steven Gogos, Timothy Gogos and his partner Julie Griffin, Ekaterini, wife of Loucas Comitas and Anastasia Kakouros and her fiancée Arthur Maginas, 3 great grandchildren, Hailey Gogos, Evangelos and Christos Comitas.
He was born in Krioneri, Vorioepiros, Greece the son of Stavros and Paraskevi (Tsamis) Gogos. Mr. Gogos had worked for Table Talk Pie as a confectionary worker for 20 years. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, a former member of the Pan-Epirotic Society and Local 151 Baker and Confectionary Union.
The funeral is Monday, May 7th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, May 6th, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
