Obituary

Mrs. Constance (Brustas) Goulas, 85, passed away Sunday April 29 in the Fairhaven Nursing Home peacefully.



She was born October 30, 1921 in Lowell, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Christos and Hareklia(Janis) Brustas. Wife to the late Aristides D. Goulas who passed away March 18, 1983.



Mrs Goulas was a lifelong resident of Lowell, educated through the Lowell Schools. She was a graduate of Lowell High School(class of 1939) and Lowell Commercial College. Following her schooling she served in the Red Cross during World War II.



She owned and operated with her late beloved husband Aristides, Connie’s Cozy Kitchen in Salisbury Beach, N.H. from 1955 – 1975. Mrs Goulas later went on to work for various technology companies after leaving the restaurant business up until her retirement .



Mrs. Goulas was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Lowell, an active member and past president of the Daughters of Penelope, a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society of Holy Trinity and the Hellenic Cultural Society.



She is survived by two devoted sons, Chris Goulas and his wife Christine, George A. Goulas and his wife Elaine of Oxford, Ma.; two grandsons, Evan and Nicholas Goulas , a brother in law, Steven D. Goulas and his wife Helen, also many nieces and nephews.



She was pre-deceased by her brother George Brustas and sisters, Diamond Paleos, Penny Kalogeris and Angie “Kay” Stavarides.

Friends will be received at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Thursday, May 3rd, from 4 to 8 pm. Her funeral will take place from the Funeral Home on Friday at 9 am to be followed by a church service at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Lowell at 10 am. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Church, Lewis St. Lowell, Ma. 01854.
