FALL RIVER - Helen B. (Botelho) Souza, age 97, of Bayside Ave., Swansea, died Monday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of the late John Souza. She is survived by Two Sons: John Souza Jr. & Lawrence R. Souza both of Swansea, Four Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, & Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Antone Botelho and Mary Costa.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Antone Botelho and the late Emilina(Viveiros) Botelho. She was a Swansea resident for 65 years. Before retiring, she was an Extruder Tender at Davol, Inc. in Cranston for over 20 years. She was a member of the former St. Michael Church, Ocean Grove, now St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Senior Club and Royal Travelers. She enjoyed Traveling and playing Bingo
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Thursday at 8:45 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
