Warren A.Goolgasian, 69, of Hawkins Street, Greenville, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Beverly J. (Stevens) Goolgasian. They were married for 46 years.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Dr. John P. and Linda (Lilla) Goolgasian. He was a resident of Greenville for many years. Warren and his wife, Beverly were the proud owners of the North Scituate Pharmacy for 26 years retiring in 1996. He graduated from URI College of Pharmacy class of 1960.
He was an avid golfer and long standing member of the Glocester Country Club. He was an enthusiastic hockey fan and had coached in the Smithfield Jr. Hockey League for many years.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Pam S. Chalue of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Warren A. Goolgasian, II of North Scituate and David C. Goolgasian of North Scituate; a brother, David L. Goolgasian of Cranston, and his grandchildren, the lights of his life, Rebecca, David II, Warren III, and Grayson. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John P. Goolgasian.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 10:30am in St. Eugene Church, 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Visitation Friday 4-8pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
