WEBSTER – Charles Edward Daley, 70, of 23 Mechanic Street, died Friday, April 27, in Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston.
He leaves a sister, Mary Krysinski; nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Linda K. Tokarz of Webster. He was preceded in death by his brother John Daley and by his sister Dorothy Zisk.
He was born in Webster, the son of William and Marguerite (Temple) Daley, and was a high school graduate.
He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Daley was a construction worker at various sites in the area, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of the Laborers International Union, Auburn Chapter 243. He was an excellent golfer and an avid Red Sox fan..
The funeral, with military honors, will be held Thursday, May 3, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours are from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
