Laconia-Loretta Katherine Seccareccio, 35, of Bay Street died Sunday afternoon, April 29th, 2007 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on March 19th, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Eleanor C. (Martel) O’Neill. She was raised and schooled in Assonet, Massachusetts, graduating from Apponequet Regional High School in 1990. She also attended college in Massachusetts. Loretta had been a resident of Laconia since 2001.
Loretta was employed at the Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pubs for the past 8 years as a cook, most recently at the Tilton, New Hampshire location. She enjoyed gardening, arts & crafts, candles, making chocolate, and collecting jewelry. She was a member of the Laconia Athletic & Swim Club, and a communicant St. Joseph Church in Laconia.
Besides her parents, Loretta is predeceased by a sister-in-law, Bonnie (Caldwell) O’Neill.
Loretta is survived by her husband of two years, Mark A. Seccareccio of Laconia; her daughter Jessica Goulart of Laconia; three step-children, Anthony Seccareccio of Laconia, Ashleigh and Andrew Seccareccio both of Weare, New Hampshire; four brothers, James O’Neill of Waltham, Massachusetts, Robert O’Neill of Lakeville, Massachusetts, Michael O’Neill and his wife Kimberly of New Hampton, New Hampshire, and Edward O’Neill, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Assonet, Massachusetts. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive Loretta.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday May 4th, 2007 at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia at 11:00 a.m. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia. Visiting hours were Thursday May 3rd, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia.
