Obituary

Alice A. Lapointe, 99, of Sherman Ave., Cumberland, died Sunday at home. She was the wife of the late William E. Lapointe.
Born in West Wickham, P.Q. Canada, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mathilda (Masse) Morais. She was raised in Woonsocket and lived in Cumberland since 1949.
Mrs. Lapointe worked for the Bell Worsted Co., the French Worsted Co., and several other textile firms in the area for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Irene Lesowski, of Pascoag, Lorraine Belliveau, of North Smithfield, and Lucile Lapointe, of Cumberland. She was the mother of the late Cecile Forget. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
