WORCESTER-Josie “Felichie” Candelario, 39, of 144 Maywood Street, died Saturday, April 28th in UMass-Memorial Hospital. She leaves her mother, Maria Miranda of Worcester; 2 brothers, Freddy Candelario of Worcester and Daniel Candelario of PA; 4 sisters, Clara Hayes of Worcester, Michelle Morel of Silversprings, MD, Leomary Sanchez and her husband, Christopher Rutherford of Worcester, and Grisella Candelario of PA; nephews, Israel, Russell, Jose, Oscar, Jaedon; nieces, Maria, Latishia, Yameliz, Victoria, Janelle and Aivah; many cousins from New York and a good friend, Danny Gayles of Worcester.
Felichie was born in Brooklyn, New York the child of Daniel Candelario. She volunteered for the Friendly House and AIDS Project Worcester.
The funeral is Tuesday, May 1st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Paul’s Cathedral, 15 Chatham Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
