Mary R. (Murphy) Royle age 100 of Salem, NH, died Friday at Salemhaven Nursing Home, Salem, NH.
She was born in East Boston, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. She later graduated from Burdette College in Boston, MA. She was a resident of Salem for the past 26 years, formerly of North Reading, MA.
Mrs. Royle was retired from the North Reading Transcript Newspaper. She was a former member of St. Theresa’s Church in North Reading., and St. Matthew Church in Windham, NH. She enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her Husband of over 65 years: William E. Royle of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 3 from 9-10:30 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
A funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at St. Matthew Church, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
