Ryan, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton, Dolores E. (Bachelder) Ryan, 78 years, went to be with the Lord April 27, 2007. Beloved wife of Charles G. Ryan. Loving mother of Douglas W. Ryan and his wife Kathleen and Diane L. Dandreta and her husband Jeffrey. Grandmother of Alex and Hunter.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 11am, officiated by Rev. H.S. Ryan and assisted by Rev. Steve Fenton. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Dolores E. (Bachelder) Ryan, went to be with the Lord on Friday evening at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Clarke and Elizabeth (Fahey) Bachelder, she was raised in the greater Boston area. Dolores had been employed as a secretary at the Walter Baker Chocolate Factory, the Randolph Manufacturing Company and retired in 1993 from the Brockton School System where she had been employed for over 20 years, the last 15 years at Brockton High School. She had been a faithful member of the Abundant Life Community Church in South Carver and enjoyed time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Charles G. Ryan, one son Douglas W. Ryan and his wife Kathleen, one daughter Diane L. Dandreta and her husband Jeffrey, two grandchildren Alex and Hunter all of Middleboro, one brother Donald Bachelder and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dexter Bachelder.
